When touchscreens become more popular and common maybe. Until then, nooooooooooo.
Generally I have difficulties with touchscreens myself but I like the one on Wii U it's very accurate and easy.
think there's a bigger problem then simply the interface. It's also that consoles have underpowered processors, and would likely lack the horsepower necessary to run EUIV at any reasonable speed. Consoles tend to be optimised for graphics, not calculations, while PDS games are the opposite.
Yeah, the CPU and RAM is lacking in current gen, completely agree! Though since i.e Wii U has shown potential it tickles the idea of having it on console too =P.
Why don't you just hook your pc on your TV?
At the moment I am playing on my TV, but, it wouldn't be the same as having a tablet in your hands and laying back relaxing with a bit of EU 4

.
I wouldn't recomend it. It's a typical pc niche, I don't think the console public would pretty much be interested on it even if you somehow made it work.
While I do believe it currently is PC niche I think that a lot of people would purchase it for consoles too, whether you have never tried it or if you already own it on PC.
Now I haven't read up on any of the other consoles and their markets, but, according to developers using Nintendo's e-shop it's very rewarding. Also as s1234567890m said; "Guaranteed that the game will run, no need to worrk about drivers, dxdiag, OS etc". I think that it would be more stable if made on consoles. I just want to add that I'm not a fanboy of any sort, I just like the idea of playing it on different platforms (and would pay good money for it too), whichever that platform might be that I own at that moment. Especially when I have friends and family that also love playing EU 3, but can't handle the PC version because of the habit of console controls or lack of hardware to play on.
