Is there a popup or possible to mod an event to notify when a factory goes bankrupt?

I'd like to IMMEDIATELY know when a factory in my country closes -- I looked and I don't see a message notification for this -- am I missing something? Assuming there's no notification for it, is it possible to add an event that pops up whenever a factory closes in my country?

Not as far as I know, you'll just have to keep an eye on the little indicator in the top left to see when it goes red. I'm sure someone could mod this for you, perhaps go to the mods forum and ask? If not, just keep all your factories subsidized, that's what most people do.

In my case, I sometimes want a "dumb factory" to go bankrupt, so that the capitalist AI will build a new factory there, and I want to immediately put an industry NF on the state to encourage the capitalists to build the best factory -- so I pretty much need to "jump on it" with a NF the day the factory goes bankrupt, before the capis can start funding the wrong factory.

Like I said, I can only think that you might try going to the mod forum and asking one of the kind modders to whip you something up. I'm not a modder, I don't know how easy it would be.

Seriously though, it's not really necessary. Most people (myself included) just subsidize everything (that way, they wont ever go bankrupt) and periodically check through to see what factories are turning into money pits, then we remove them manually.

It MIGHT be possible to do some kind of thing with checking a province for factories and unemployment, but it wouldn't be consistent. I don't think there's a condition which can check for closed-down factories.
