Is there a paint or fill tool to make areas concrete, grass etc ?

I don't think there is, but I would love it. I don't think there is any sort of terrain modification possible outside of the map editor, and that only allows a few specific biomes. Maybe somebody will mod the map editor, lol.

Car parks would be amazing. Sadly be a bit more of a revamp for the AI to use it over their normal parking spot. Plus most people rather use their parking spot at their houses etc. But damn all those cars on the road is insane!

Those white lined parking spaces that you can see in front of some of the commercial buildings come from the original CiM and they are functional. I don't think it would be very hard to put a bunch of them together and create a functional parking lot.

In NYC there is parking on all streets, except where it is restricted. Even in residential areas with driveways and garages the street is always filled with cars. Only in the suburbs do you see streets with no cars parked on them. So to me this is pretty realistic.

I would hope there would be a tool to draw this. This could also assist in farms. They may not "function" but could be eye candy.

Also I hope there are parking lots. As I plan to build a roadway that is separate from the others by going over or under. And placing a bus depot on it with a few stops to make a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit System) The parking lots can essentially be a "park-and-ride" feature. Also when the city gets bigger I can upgrade the bus route to the LRT (Light Rail Transit) along the same path.

underground parking. it would be cool to actually plop underground parking lots, then build the tunnels and connect them to the streets above.. I don't think we're gonna have tunnels on release though. Something for the future maybe. Large apartment complexes here often have underground parking.

Ahh Nice. I assumed since they build Parking spots at houses etc they overtime their going to add it one way or another. But I assume for release they will not be in.
