units will not move into an area due to the potential attrition they will take.

i can force move them there, but im not about to do this with over a hundred troops.

there should be a force move to frontline or def line button. i shouldnt have to hold the hands of 100+ divisions and force move them individually to a frontline, this is a problem anywhere in the world you have to deal with bad infrastructure.

for context im playing india and am fighting russia. as you can imagine the infrastructure is shit lmao.

TBH you probably shouldn't overload your frontline to the point where you are way over supply. You'll take tons of attrition and lose org. If you add a hundred divisions to an already overloaded frontline, you'll lose more than you gain.

If you still want to send the troops to the front, you just need to move them once manually (use strategic redeployment preferably), and then they'll stay with the frontline forever. That's hardly big micro. Alternatively if you have the FM ability for extra supply, you can pop that and it will temporarily solve your supply issues, allowing more troops to flood in.

Attacking Russia from India through a tiny gap in the Himalayas is probably a bad idea any way you look at it...

I can see some utility in this idea.
Sometimes the frontline 'AI' is gets really stupid and leave parts of the front completely empty because 'omg 2% attrition!', while enemy troops can happily walk in.
It often happens in large, low supply areas like northern Russia, Far East Siberia, or Africa.

There should at very least be some automatic thing that would override this default 'do not enter zone without supply' if there are empty provinces at the front.

this literally everything this man is saying.

the units i was trying to move would take at max 10% attrition, and with my current situation i could care less . With who i was playing and where my army was, the attrition really didnt matter at all, i just needed to fill the holes on my frontline.
