By the way during the PDXCON stream, quill asked the dev about hoi4 release date and the dev replied the ideal release date is Q2, but it could be delay if the development does not make it in time. (Does this means the dev was hinting that development progress is not meeting expectation right now?)


I'm kind of worry as the game is still in alpha stage, hope paradox is not pulling too much resources working on other titles. If it gets delay again we may have to see it on 2016.

I assumed the streaming was the devdiary.

Podcat said the next one would be on supply and/or how you raise divisions on the map; and that they would try to write something up after PDXCON.

And while I expect them to still hit a late Q2 target (June 22 perhaps, to coincide with Barbarossa's anniversary), I think Paradox has learned not to rush unfinished games out the door, so if they need to delay it, they will

Well HOI4 is their Biggest project by far so they need alot of time to make it one of the greatest game ever.

For DD probably about training as it was the new stuff shown in the stream.

It has been peevish and centred around keeping things which were actually far from popular (the ridiculously over-complex OOB that had you shepherding HQ units most of the time) just for the sake of keeping them. Just like the silliness over transport aircraft and counters, it seemed unbalanced.

Transports still made some sense and they were not useless. But HQ units? No, thank you.

Yeah, having some sort of OOB/CoC is widely wanted, but the rest of it is far from strongly requested. I'd say that even the push to split infrastructure into roads and rails was much stronger than any support for any sort of HQs or supply vehicles.
