I ran into some crazy bugs and I would appreciate if someone could link me a console command to kill an untargetable unattackable stuck fleet that makes me unable to progress.

If you know the fleet name, search it in the save file and delete the entire fleet's bracket should do it. Don't forget to delete the fleet ID from "owned_fleets" from its owner if it exists there, though based on your description it might not be if its in fact glitched and you lost owner/controllership.

If you're comfortable in reading the save file you might even be able to troubleshoot to find out what went wrong by searching through the fleet ID.

Its an AI fleet not mine and I have no idea how to edit save files XD
I'll make another copy and try to tinker with it, thanks for the tip.

It is not necessary to edit to save file for this. Select the fleet and enter the following console command without quotes:

"damage 50000"

This will deal 50k damage to the fleet. If it doesn't die from that then keep doing it until it does.

Ty that worked marvelously :)

Glad I could help. I've had the same bug happen to me a number of times. The strangest occurrence was when an enemy fleet of armies got stuck in hyperspace (they were stuck halfway between one star system and another) for most of the game. I would have deleted them, but they sort of grew on me. I later declared them to be a national treasure.

It was a bit more annoying in my case, 5 FE Destroyers bugged out in a system, they didn't attack but they were unattackable too, the indicator for where they were compared to the models was off too and when clicking to attack them my ships moved 2 systems to the west of the map for no reason then did nothing. Problem is, while I had a starbase already conquered in that system (but not the planet) I left it for a brief period of time and another FE fleet jumped in. I managed to kill the fleet quickly but just slightly after the Starbase shifted to their control. So now there's an unkillable enemy fleet in a system, the starbase doesn't change ownership to me as long as its there, and I cannot land units on the planet either. What's even worse its a ecumoneopolis and therefore I cannot neutron bathe it either. So there's literally nothing to do except offer a status quo and go to war in 10 years again...or cheat and kill the 5 unkillable destroyers.

Its weird because normally the invincibility passes once there's nothing in the system anymore and they do damage I just don't shoot back, at least that's how that bug was in 2.1

If the starbase has bugged out as well you can select it and enter the command "own" in the console. That will shift control of it to you.
