Is there an AoD version wiki available or in development? Mainly, what I'm looking for is some sort of strategy guide. I'm an experienced HoI2DD player, but the more I read in the forum threads, the more I realize I don't know about tactics for the game. Appreciate the help. Cheers.

I don't think it needs a full blown wiki of its own, but would make more sense to be joined with the HoI2 one, as elements of the game are similar

I disagree I think it does need a separate Wiki. The amount of information that is different is staggering. Infrastructure now matters a LOT, what are the ideal fleet compositions now? Is pure Art/SP Art still the way to go. How important is Air Power. So many things have been changed that simply going off of HoI2 information isn't sufficient.

Just update the hoi2 wiki, there are as much changes as when doomsday was released if not less, and nobody ever asked for a separated Doomsday wiki.

I don't see the need for a separate AODwiki, too. There have been made several gameplay changes in AOD but most of the content of the HOI2wiki is still valid. It seems to be better to rework some of the outdated articles and add a paragraph which details changes/improvements made by AOD.

AoD plays very different to WiF ( My fav mod)

For instance .

Army - ( stacking penalty is a bitch)

Attack - small break out units preceded by generic attack and diversions

Defense - Rotation of org ( Let them attack weak positions and fill as need be)

Air - ( not as powerful but still critical for ports and air fields)

Attack - Sounds simple but don't send TACs in until your clear skys
Defense - INTs tear crap up

Naval - Working on it ( I don't get AoD naval mechanics yet)
