Sony don't allow mods

...derr...or Microsoft
I play on both PS4 and Xbox One X. CS has a few non game changing mods on XB but if you use them you disable achievements as if your cheating.
I also play Farming Simulator and Snowrunner both have mods. Snowrunner has had troubled launch adding mods
,but they did it. I know there are others too, I worked as a manager at GameStop for 10 years. Things do change .
There is now cross play with Xbox and Sony including logging into a Microsoft account to play Minecraft on Sony. Sony has been slow to allow change but they did. It is the developers choice not to.
As of now Airports Dlc has problems with no update for consoles. I had to remove cargo from my airports to save my cities. Cruise ships are dropping off tourists and despawning. Cargo harbor is running like mad but no ships to be seen. Helicopters and Blimps are broken. I miss adding a Blimp, only 1 thanks, floating around. And maybe it's just me but I thought at first we could go a little outside of owned tile when adding path for fishing, not now. I turned off chirper years ago, but no anniversary update. So maybe it's best to fix the games current state. Things will eventually change, but maybe not the developers decision on mods and adding extra tiles, it may be for the best.
Oh, and happy belated birthday. I am loving the game by the way.

The only "mods" available on XB are assets by PC standards, meaning they do not change the gameplay and are just some buildings. You'll need to play on a computer to access game-changing mods, especially the steam edition which ties the game with the workshop.
