Is the religious turmoil in Ethiopia during the 1620's and 30's represented in the game?

I was reading a little about Ethiopian history. Apparently, Ethiopia became a Catholic state for roughly eight years, when the Ethiopian Orthodox Church briefly united with Rome aroun 1624, the Emperor Susyenos having converted in 1622. However, soon a missionary tolerant of Ethiopian religious traditions was replaced with a staunch Latinizer who condemned many local Ethiopian traditions. This led to widespread revolts, with armies of tens of thousands of men. Today, there is a legacy of this brief union in the Ethiopian Catholic Church.

When I checked the game and changed the starting year, hoping that this was shown in the game, it didn't seem to represent this era at all. In these years, there seems to be no religious division in Ethiopia between Coptic and Catholic, no Catholic emperor, and no religious rebels. Am I mistaken?

It would be great to see this represented.
