I know I've read from someone on the last dev diary that the next one will be about the partisans and how they will function, I just wanted to confirm if this is true, since details on them seem to be very scarce and that system has always been very intriguing to me since defeat is actually just one layer of the game and resistance comes in here in a rather interesting way which was always very fun for me.

If you paused the video at the right time, you can see the impact of partisans. I'm going off of memory, but I think the following happens: Partisan level keeps growing over time depending on occupation setting and MP units. They do not appear to be an active military unit. Instead, they provide negative values to supply and reliability. In addition, they have the ability to damage factories and provide intel to the enemy. So they really become effective if you are actually fighting in that state.

I clearly prefer this system than the HoI III partisan system where you have to track down every unit that appears (and when you own everything from Northern Ireland to the Ural, it's quite painful). Historically, excepting the Warsaw Uprising and some french resistance movement, it was rare to see unit spawn like this.
