Is the name link issue in the culture file ever going to be fixed?

There are a lot of names in the culture file's name bank which simply aren't properly linked. This has been a small issue since launch and it still hasn't been taken care of at all, from what I can see. It would only take a few minutes to look through the names and see a lot of missing links in plain site. For example, the Italian name bank has Paola linked to Paula but it doesn't have Paolo linked to Paul. It would be nice if there was a developer who could take 15 minutes to just look through the file quickly and add in the most obvious cases of missing links, like the one I pointed out here. There was a project on the forums a while back that fixed it, took weeks not 15 minutes but its probably still around if you want it.

I can understand it taking weeks if you had to use language dictionaries in order to translate everything from Welsh and stuff, but I'm not even asking for that. I just find it really weird that there are so many glaring errors here when it comes to name links. I'm talking about the plain-in-sight errors like variations of super common names like John, Paul, Mark, etc not being linked up. The developers are smart cookies. If I can see this, they surely could see it as well if they would just look. I'd appreciate a link to the fan mod though. Thanks.

I've seen some of this too, and I'll help, if I know what exactly they want. I know people submit this kind of thing to the bug reports forum and Paradox tends to put it in, but I don't know if they just need the names or if they want actual code. If somebody knows, tell me and I'll put some work into this myself.

Cool, and can we suggest new links like for instance all forms of "Albert" aren't linked yet, or "Victor", so like suggesting "Vittorio_Victor, Viktor_Victor, etc."? I've got a bunch of Italian ones that would be great to link (I play them the most, so I'm the most familiar with the names), and I will continue my search.
