Is still possible to switch culture as Egypt from Macedonian to native Egyptian?

I remember that playing as Egypt with previous versions of Imperator it was possible, with the Serapis event, to switch the religion to Kemetic while staying Macedonian, to stay Hellenic Macedonian or to turn completely native (with the risk of a civil war). Now it is still possible to become Kemetic, but the Serapis event has been completely reworked in the mission tree and I'm not sure if it's still possible to switch culture. Does anyone know for sure if it's still possible to do that?

yes it is. I was planning on taking the decision to embrace Kemetic when the event you describe fired. saved me 200 polotical influence.

Thanks for the info, I will try again then. There are some requirement or it's still launched automatically as it was before?

I also took a look at the event in the database and has a condition:

NOT = {
has_dlc = "Heirs of Alexander"
}

It seems that having the new dlc blocks it for triggering.

Without checking, and purely based on that requirement, it could be that the flip from Makedonian to Egyptian might have been made part of the new Diadochi missions for Egypt that came with the DLC, with the event as a backup for people who don't have the DLC.

I've looked at all the missions and for the moment I didn't see anything to switch the culture, but I will look again in the database, some events triggers only after activating the relative mission. Let's hope it's there, otherwise it would be somewhat discomforting to buy a dlc to have less possibilities than without it.
