Is shock damage and shock damage bonus the same thing?

For example when looking on cossacks unit you see that being a cossack unit they get +10% shock damage bonus. If you have drilled army you can get up to +10% shock damage (without phrase "bonus"). Are those 2 modifiers the same?

Yes, they are the same (unless I am stupid). The localization is just inconsistent.
