is POD easier?

hello all, I am playing my first game ever with POD and I have 2.0 mil in the bank in 1906 with all taxes set too as low as possible...am I finally getting the hang of this game, or is POD just easier and I still dont know what the heck I am doing?

Also, factories are going up but never being listed as a project....i have 3,300 Rich guys...are they just funding them instantly or is this a bug or something?

It depends on the country. PoD has a more complex economy (more RGOs and factories), so there may be more opportunity for useful factories for countries that don't have traditional industrial RGOs like coal, iron, etc. On the whole, I wouldn't say PoD is easier, but again, it would depend on the country you play.

Factories being built just means that as soon as the project is started, there are enough capitalists that they essentially instantly fund the project, so it doesn't stay in your production screen for very long.

I am playing as Brazil, as i have in the past, and this is by far the best economy i have ever had, which is why i was wondering.

From what I read on reddit and paradox forum majority thinks it is easier indeed, because AI can't handle changes and player has easier time making monies.
