Strange, I cannot reproduce it, my subs work properlyIs every major mechanics broken in this patch?
Can someone explain to me, why my fleet full of 1940 subs with 5000km range cannot reach Atlantic?
How can it be "out of rane"?

Japan still overruns China even with the new supply system
Lybia not so much, but the fact that Somaliland and Eritrea doesn't get any railroad, despite the fact that Italians had built lots of it in there and Ethiopia before the war is a joke of bad taste.View attachment 777409View attachment 777405
View attachment 777411Ngl, last night I played a game and the USSR was doing just fine, had this historical africa here, and everything was good, even barbarossa. Yet, when the germans decked war in 1941, the soviets got pushed to the stalin line, then all of a sudden, they started pushing for moscow, THEN HISTORICALLY PUSHED TO STALINGRAD. Unfortunately, I was unable to see how the soviets would make a comeback as in 1943 I invaded italy and then pushed north. Soviets just held stalingrad until the end of 43, when germany capitulated.
Big problems that I had in the game at the time were:
Libya has no railways, and not even Ethiopian war logistics gives it this

Army xp is expensive, especially to minors as usually you need a full army to gain the most xp. Its just not cost effective to do both tanks as well as doctrine all the time. I didn't even get to really start my doctrine until 1942, where then i was only able to go down 6 doctrines of grand battle plan before the war even ended.
France bugged up and never got charles de gaulle so was never able to get their spawn ins for dday, and they were stuck on the free france tree.
Soviets just never had their factories. they always seemed out of supply, and if hadn't intervened in some way, say Africa, none of this would have been possible. and most probably they would have capitulated.
There are just so many techs for tanks now, kind of ridiculous how many you believe you need for your tank divisions. Not enough time to get them.
Canada still has no decision to referendum newfoundland and labrador in 1949.
I quite sure that most tanks (maybe light tank not) are able to pierce 7-2s, especially without anti-tank cannons. I not sure what will be the future meta, but I'm using 25 width as standard with quite the success. To me, NSB feels pretty bugged, late game got even worse than before. I dared to go to war with the allies as Romanov Russia in 1945 and it’s a mess. Allies are still naval invading every 7 seconds. Normally, not a problem: guard the coasts, especially the harbors with a few divisions and that’s it. Well, not anymore! 1 British tank division manages to crash my 5 infantry divisions (7+2) at a level 5 forts harbor. Especially annoying: It looks like enemy troops get less attrition and not as many negative stats when encircled or not connected to a harbor. So I ended up using roughly 400 divisions 7+2 infantry to get those landings under control, not even kidding. I had to go hunting down enemy divisions that just randomly walked from Danzig to Romania - just one division without any stops. That division did not suffer any losses from moving in enemy territory, although it was not connected to any harbour anymore. I encircled about 80 allied divisions in the carpethian mountains for almost a year and neither did they lose org or troops nor did they suffer any encirclement penalties when I attacked. I had to nuke the whole place to get it back. At that point, the game is just frustrating and not playable anymore…
I started my own AI simulation as observer with regular difficulty and all default parameters, start in 1936. Some of my observations (patch 1.11.2):Timelapses are out:
Soviets are seriously underindustrialized and are not even capable of annexing the Baltic states anymore. Really disappointing, the DLC was supposed to make the game more immersive. Simply slapping debuffs on Soviets was not a good idea.
Again I already took a look at their AI myself and it just can't handle all the political power sinks and can't get their national foci in time. The debuff to Soviet industry is completely unjustifiable and unhistoric and makes me question if Paradox actually playtested the entire thing.
It's So True. I Will Not Talk About Even Multiplayer. Germany is Dead Now.I really don't understand the "very positive" rating on steam. Is it hype only?
This DLC and patch is broken as hell.
Historical as Germany:
1939 Germany invade Poland
1940 Italy invade Yugoslavia - Yugoslavia joins Allies. Italy lost Africa within days. With the new supply system, Italy is even more incompetent than before
1940 USSR declared war on Latvia - Latvia joins Allies. Now it is became Quake 3 Arena Free For All
1941 Germany invade USSR. Hungary and Romania did not accept war invitation.
1942 Fascist Italy left Axis and join Comintern
1942 Germany Alt+F4 rage quit
New supply system is total mess.
Germany cannot deploy even 24 divisions on entire Polish borders without attrition.
Over 3000+ fighters protecting Europe air space, but Allies (Britain only) keep destroying my trains with 300 CAS
While Romania is not at war with USSR, all Soviet encircled divisions fall back on Romanian territory (without military access) and gain full organization and supply.
Before patch, I earned 100% organizer trait during Spanish Civil War. Now I got barely 10%.
German - Soviet cooperation it says "Create Panzer IV Ausf A. variant.... well it is create... just nothing
Tank Designer, create Leopard variant but it has Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind icon. "Best match"
etc. etc.
I just spent 20 eur to break my game.

With all the really obvious bugs in NSB that one notices even by doing just one half of a playthrough, it does seem like the expansion saw very limited playtesting, particularly with historical settings...
Pearl Harbour is implemented in the game via Coordinated StrikeWe must strongly divide two types of complains: plausibility and playability.
Playability is about bugs, balance and so. Historically Axis states were doomed to loose, but it would not be fun to play in multiplayer, nor in singleplayer (at least for casuals). I have no worries here. Playability is crucial and bugs will be fixed.
But plausibility... Is broken and nothing will change it. Developers decided to follow meme paths and not work on historical events which are hard to implement, like Pearl Harbour or Soviet Invasion on Poland. Focus trees are currently too big and complicated to reflect our reality. What worse, by the Poland Dev Diaries they confirmed they are not working with historians. They are developers who create focus trees.
It saddens me a lot, but by looking at sales, it must be a good strategy. They have to sacrifice some salty history maniacs to please a vide audience of casuals. Just pretend it is not a II world war simulation, but a meme strategy game based on it. Which it indeed is!
