It was my understanding that with High Crown Authority your vassals could not fight each other for claims within a Kingdom to which those laws apply.

If that is right, then how come this is happening?

A savegame can be found here (http://www.mediafire.com/?4ed83ncj6ragaea) if you want to look more closely to help me understand what is going wrong.

That seems quite wrong, yes. I will pass it on to our internal forums.

Thanks, K-vald.

Whilst looking at the save game, would you also be able to shed any light on where the English culture people came from because it was my understanding that the Normans needed to succeed in their conquest of England for this culture to develop but since this never happened in my game I do not understand why I have some English cultured vassals?

I can look into it and see what factors may be causing it.

It took a few days but I think the penny has just dropped!

I had forgotten about the recent change which took Cornwall out of England's De Jure borders and put it into the new Kingdom of Brythain. The war that I saw was therefore permissible because of the low Crown Authority in Brythain. Once the next patch is released this should change because Cornwall would have been part of De Facto England for long enough to change to De Jure England and so be governed by England's Crown Law.
