Is my game over? Under France in PU.

As Brandenburg, I'm around 7-8 provinces large but I ran into a stroke of crazy bad luck where my heir died then my king died, like, within a year of each other and I'm under France in a PU.

Possible independence supporters are nil. France has already stomped Austria and taken all of Burgundy's lands, England and Castille are both being stomped by French allies (Scotland and Aragon). Poland never PUed Lithuania. Scandinavia is in disarray.

I actually don't think it's remotely possible in my game to break out of this PU (scoring a 60% WS against France somehow).

My only chance is support from Ottomans but they don't hate France enough.

Is there any other way to save my game or should I basically just start over at this point?

IIRC, if pretender rebels break you you break the PU because of a new ruler. so just letting rebels break your country seems an option. boost WE, convert to an heretic faith, go bankrupt. anythign you can do to get rovlts that change your ruler. heck, try and become a republic if you can.

Speaking of PU's. I never see France get PU's , so France need a buff in that department. +10 to luck I'd say.

Give them the war of Spanish succession flavour event . Just like Castille has Iberian wedding.

I agree with everything here. Changing government may be the easiest way out, and France should have their luck bonus modifiers multiplied by 10.

I thought changing government doesn't break PUs? I swear I had some PUs with countries that turned into republics and I kept them. This sounds like the way to go then.
