Is MP possible?

Surprisingly low activity in the MP forum. Any experience yet with a MP game, or do the bugs (e.g. speed) make it impossible to get a continuation game going?

I've an ongoing game with a friend, we're around November '41, and it was fine up to now, except that we can't connect directly anymore and have to use GameRanger, dunno why, worked well at first. (Also, he's noob. : p )

As they swapped game ranger info at the beginning i suspect that is where they meet and talk

However i do miss the AAR reports of the MP games, like in the good old HOI2 times.

Trouble with MP

Having trouble with doing a LAN game. It does not show games available, or the few times it did, clicked and did nothing. I am behind a lynksys router and have tried all forms of multiplayer, Lan, Internet, and Gameranger. Versions are the same. Usually LAN is never a problem, with any games I have played in 20 years, so strikes me as odd that I have a problem now.... Any help would be appreciated.

We have tried but when I get to the game lobby, it is all blank. The countries flags you select, and the scenarios are missing, and henceforth, I am unable to start a game since I cannot select one, nor he.

If the Patch is out with the fix of the "Non-Retreat-Bug" in MP-games then more MP will be running i think.

We wait for the Patch.

if you want a quick fix until 1.03 is through Q/A, then you could just set minimum combat time for naval and land to 0...

That way you can always retreat..?..

I placed those ports in the Port Forwarding section and enabled them, but still once I get to the lobby screen it is blank, with only Options tab allowing me to do anything.:wacko:

yes, we did that way.
Our Russian game with 11-13 people is 4th session now, 1 November 1939.
