Is KOCH a bit of a lemon?

Hi anyone,
Seems that KOCH has managed to generate almost Zero publicity for EU; Even to the extent that PC Gamer considered it to be a 'Risk' type game, clearly one or both are culprits, I would love to know whom is responsible.
PS: Who is Koch, Paradox?

I can sympathize with you T.R.!

Fortunately for us colonials, we had a good bunch of reviews as reviewers played the game more extensively, although the initial noises from our reviewers was not much better than yours. As we roll close to the release date, apparently the SF people (the North American publisher) have gotten off their duffs and done some work in the trenches and especially online. Two points to this:
One, Koch's release date is two weeks further off than SF's so you may start to see more movement as the date comes forward, and
Two, the North American release is actually coming from Canada, a Commonwealth member as I recall. We had our doubts also when I was first on this site and seeing very little action. Things appear to be changing and it may be you will see this at your end as well. Good luck!

Yeah, not one games store here in Bristol has even _heard_ of EU!

In their defense, a representative from KOCH did show up quite a few times on this board during the dark times when we didn't know if EU was ever going to be published in english, a very courteous fellow, and fielded questions, held our hands, told us that everything was gonna be all right...

If EU doesn't sell well in the U.K., it's really their loss, though...just as long as y'get yer grubby lil' hands on it, bless their corporate heart.

Thankyou all for the replies.
I do remember Stewart(?) from Koch a while ago.
The US E-Zines(? again!) and web-sites of mags do seem to have actually played the game and given it a proper appraisal- even PC Stategy gamer (UK) could barely manage to mention it, let alone PCZones' 'Risk' mention.
I'm thinking that the N.American market will be better supported in reference to speed of delivered patches if the US and UK end up with incompatible versions, so...I'm now almost certain which one I will order.
Paradox- I know you are busy with patches, but will there be a generic English patch, or a split one? (So same Q for the game itsself of course!!).
