Is June 6 an accurate date though?

Of course it was an accurate date. They explicitly said D-Day. Since D-Day was 72 years ago, that means the game is already out! Finally a use for that time machine!

he was joking around. D-Day is a certain date. 6th of June that is for people that dont know when or what d-day is (shame on you). He was just delaying it as much as he could, since he know people were waiting for its announcement.

What if the storms in the channel don't clear up on the 6th? Do we delay til the 7th?

I was hoping for something a bit earlier than June, but oh well, I guess. At least we know.

We already knew that beta takes from 3-6 months and HoI4 entered beta in mid February, that means that it is around a 4 month long beta which is pretty realistic. What surprised me was that they chose to release both Stellaris and HoI4 only one month apart. I expected at least 2 month between the releases.
