Is it still possible to convert via rebels?

Accepting no longer converts you; rebels need to enforce their demands for the conversion to happen.

Umh, it does. It's even easier now, actually. They don't even have to spawn and occupy a province of yours. I just converted Venice to Orthodox by having 4% unrest in Constantinople. I guess you need an Orthodox majority now, though. And I didn't even lose stability. The problem is to get Orthodox Zealots. I still don't quite know how you get them over peasants and noble rebels...

This is my problem right now with Poland. I have no idea how to get Religious Rebels with the new patch, since not even placing a missionary on 0% maintenance seems to get rid of the incessant nationalists.

Well, here's what my presets were:

-Done in capital, so no Autonomy.
-No nationalism.
-Was my culture.
-Maintainance at 0.
-Took some decisions to get negative heretic tolerance.

It changed from peasants to zealots when I put my army there for a few days and left again.
