I'm currently playing a game as pacifists with a pretty strong military advantage against my neighbours, whose general government styles and political attitudes lead me to believe they intend to engage in a lot of warmongering in the long run. Some of them also oppose my pacifist policies in the Galactic Community.
It seemed fairly obvious, then, that I should declare Ideology wars against my neighbours, to force everyone else to become Pacifists. However, around the point where I reasoned that blowing up an enemy colony ship would lead to less war in the long run, I began to wonder if I have, in fact, abandoned the Pacifist ideology my empire still technically follows.
What do you think? Am I technically still a Pacifist, or have I simply broken the game?
