Is it possible to influese traits of other charakters?

I would really like to let some traits of other charakters "disappear", for example one person is voracious. I don't like it. Can I do something that this trait goes away?

If a child is your ward, you have some (albeit slight) influence on their gained traits. As an adult, there is none (though there's room to mod it in.)

If the character isn't your ward, the only way would be to edit the save game file and remove the traits, or just hope they get removed through random events.
