If so, can someone point me to where that is located and how to change it (Iwould assume just change .61 to the desired level).

No the manpower gain comes from the UK's prvoinces manpower, just like metal, energy, rares etc...

If you want to change this just add this to the uk.inc file in ter relevant scenario file:

province = { id = 1465 manpower = 100 }

This will increase the daily manpower, not sure by how much, you'll have to experiment.

What if I want to decrease the manpower (which I do)? Do I put in -100?

There are many ways you can adjust the manpower "gain". You could edit the Province.csv file. Or you could edit the misc.txt file variables (thus adjusting all nations). Or you could use the new event commands "free_manpower" (and give it a negative) if you wish to reduce manpower gain. Or adjust "relative_manpower".

Mithel, thanks. Can you be more specific? All I really want to do is get the .61 down to .4. Specificalkly what do I do. Do I do what Sir Clive states but, put in a -100? I am brand new to editting files.

Actually, I think I am OK. I went into the province file and luckily the English province are right at the top. Assuming my eyesight does not play tricks on my. It looks like I just go inand reduce a few of the MP points in the various provinces. I wonder how many I have to reduce? Oh well, I will save the original file and play around a bit and hopefully get the right mix.

PeteC, with the "free_manpower" event command you could just give it a value of -0.21 and that should do it. That's a pretty crude hack though.

I never work with vanilla so I wouldn't know what values to recommend using vanilla, but it's not too hard to take some small nation like Albania and give them a set manpower amount to see what that gives you for a daily gain (or look at the misc.txt file to see what it's set at). England is more complex because it has "colony" provinces.

Mithel - big thanks for your help. I do not know what you mean in regard to "free_manpower" event but, I went into the Province file and reduced the MP in the various provinces to get the desired daily gain (about .38).

Thanks.
