So, a while back I made this thread: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...low-empires-future-feature-suggestion.915116/ about slower than light empires and now I was wondering if it would be possible to mod an alternative style of play.

However, to create a Mod scenario where you play as a slower than light empire with systems as effectively vassals but also keep things reasonably entertaining you'd still need to deal with the unrealistic ability to 'see' everything your vassals see. For the model being described you'd just have to assume that your own class of ship carry portable ansibles on them.

My question is: Do we think it would be possible to 'see' only vassal systems that possess a spaceport in order to represent the development of some kind of ansible network?

I mean you don't really need to see your vassals mining stations in other systems etc but yeah. This I think would be a necessary mechanic for it (plus like loads of extra scripting etc but you get where I'm going).
