I agree. I'd rather have a Toyota that runs nicely and doesn't break down all the time than have a fancy sports car that looks nice but runs like crap.

I think people are mostly afraid he the new engine is going to turn out to be the crappy sports car while the old enige is seens as the steady and reliable Toyota (not that it was not crash prone but that got less with later patches).
