The 2nd dev diary mentioned interception enroute. Was this implemented?

Oh I've seen it and it wasn't great. You get bombed to bits compared to actually being in the zone and it doesn't count the air zone they start in so fighters do not defend their airbaseIt was. How effective it is has yet to be seen.
Intercepting en-route is worse than intercepting in the right air zone, yes. But you can still intercept in the right air zone, and that will sometimes help out an adjacent air zone if you're lucky.Uh... so the new system is WORSE?
I'm not sure, but I agree interception and damage to bombers seem lower than before, and I don't even have dlc. Were the air combat formulas changed? On the same topic: How do you disrupt now?
I remade the base 36 light fighter with dual HMG and double engine. And still around 800 fighters deal almost no damage to 500 ish bombers over western Germany (the air doctrine is fully researched). like 1-2 % disruption and maybe 1-2 killed planes a day.
Any tips?
I ran tests the other day on this patch (then the beta) and found disruption of strats went higher as air attack increased. If you aren't doing enough damage then you won't disrupt many.On the same topic: How do you disrupt now?
