Is hoi4 “crossplay” with steam and the Microsoft store?

Hi, i just bought the xbox game pass and im trying to play with my friends that have hoi4 in steam, but we cannot find each other server, we received a message "Connection time timed out".

The servers id are totally different, what can we do to play together?
