I've played since 1.06 a lot of games as napoli and noticed weird behavior/bugs of genoa since 1.08 that I have never observed before:

1. when genoa declares war on an island they just raise their levies and never move them. they start with ~2k levies and I think they don't have enough ships to invade by ship. that or the ai is broken. happens every game after a few years. it's easy to exploit this because when they lose their war they are usually broke and an easy target. I remember in 1.06 as a count of sardinia (an island) I got often ganged by genoa, so it wasn't a problem back then.

2. in one game genoa had suddenly only 100 levies max at some point. I dont know what happened. they still held genoa, nice and capua but weren't able to field more than 100 levies (they were not broke either and not at war with anyone for some time). I might have a savegame of that if needed.

3. once I have warred with genoa for capua and after I won I also got nice. no clue why. during the war I had taken some holdings in nice but still, my pressed claim was only de jure for capua.

has anyone else noticed that?

edit: I have added a savegame for the 2nd bug (check out the top liege levies in the realm tree of genoa in Sicily1095_01_18.zip)

and I have also found 2 savegames from another game with the dejure bug(?): 1 before declaring war on genoa and 1 after the war (unfortunately I don't have a savegame from during the war). after I won the dejure war over capua I also got nice...
