I know a lot of players like to form Prussia for role-playing purposes, but is it advantageous to do so with Brandenburg?
Three of the four new provinces you get cores on have excellent base tax values. You get the military reforms at land tech 30. Your primary culture switches to Prussian (is this a nice advantage?) and you get a step towards centralization.
But, on the other hand, you only get a measly 2 prestige. Most of significant of all though, is that you have to convert away from Catholicism. If you're in a situation where you wouldn't normally want to convert, I don't know if forming Prussia is worth it. But if you're in a situation where you'd want to convert anyway, then I suppose it is worth the advantages.
What do you think? Thanks in advance
