It plays in-game. These particular songs are set to play often (factor 2) for Eastern religion group countries, and not at all (factor 0) for anyone else.Anyone know if the music DLC play ingame or if it's just some external soundtrack?
No, it's a DLC made by a fan. Paradox has done it before- Crakdtoothgrin made portrait packs for CKII, for example. So it's basically a paid mod, right?

What's the difference? Please don't downvote me simply because you don't agree. No, it's a DLC made by a fan. Paradox has done it before- Crakdtoothgrin made portrait packs for CKII, for example.
You do realize the red cross option says 'disagree'? It seems like a good thing to use when you don't agree with someoneWhat's the difference? Please don't downvote me simply because you don't agree.

It will play in game, as Arachne said. As for it being a "paid mod" no, not exactly. I originally created my mod to be something I could do in my free time that would expand on the already amazing OST that Europa had, and when Wiz and I got talking, we decided making a community DLC would be a great opportunity to have some of my compositional skill added into the game. The five songs are all unique, and none of them were ever in my mod, for the price, I can't imagine anyone would be salty if they enjoy playing in the Asian regions.Anyone know if the music DLC play ingame or if it's just some external soundtrack?
Originally, the plan was to create pieces that were going to be focused on the Major wars and conflicts in Europe during the game's progression, however we ended up switching to Asia, because of the overabundance of European-era Music already included in the game. That, coupled with the fact a lot of people have been wanting music for other regions, Asia being one of the more often requested, they thought it would be a better approach. If I ever get the chance to do another pack, it may be for Europe, or another area, I'm not sure.I personally would have preferred they adapted the Classical and Baroque music mod for EU4 than Kairi's, given their emphasis on Europe, England, Italy and the HRE with Common Sense, and have saved hers for an eastern expansion.
I personally like it, although I'm very biased. If you've enjoyed my mod then you'll definitely enjoy the DLC. And yes, all music can be removed from the dlc folder to be listened to in VLC, or any other media center, or player. Is it any good? Should i get it?
To answer the OP. All the music you buy can be played on whatever device you want. They are stored as .ogg in the dlc folder.
It definitely clears things up. Sorry for the "paid mod" thing, the Skyrim disaster is still fresh in my memory. I checked out your Music Mod and it's really good - I may even buy the DLC.As for it being a "paid mod" no, not exactly. Hopefully this clears some things up, and let me know if anyone has any questions, or concerns.
