General:

When playing Luftlandy you'll suffer one way or another.

You need to get air superiority. Otherwise you'll suffer even more. Try not to loose a single plane, always engage only over friendly airspace and always in higher numbers.

The smaller your section of the front is, the better luftlande gets. You can not compete against most allied divisions in 1vs1 fights when it comes to tanks, infantry, etc., even the fs jägers will loose against rangers and you dont have much support units (especially in phase A) whereas the allies have plenty. When playing 10vs10, go for a very small section of the map, idealy with a town.

Phase A:

Combo 1) Ersatztruppen with command infantry behind as bullet sponge, FS Jäger do the hard work (they are lvl 3 with commander sup!)

Combo 2) Initial town rush - bring your arty spotter and its heavy arty. Place arty strike in the town, hold your troops back and wait till it arrived. When placed well, you can mop up the panicked remains with 1) - Take the howitzers for phase A if need be, you may need smoke screens to protect your tropps,

Deadly AT recons - Great to sneak past enemy lines. Fun if placed next to enemys deployment route.Deploy more recons than usual and try to sneak them behind enemy lines, you'll need to see what the enemy is fielding in the upcoming phases and its quite essential for your planes to know where enemy aa is. Remember that you can manually switch off the recons weapons, so it won't fire on infantry passing them by.

Air tab: Put the Me109/G2 and HS 129 in your deck. The Me109 can be used as a fighter and also kills soft targets like mortars and at and the HS 129 is pretty well capable of killing those damn stuarts and other tanks. The allies decks have fighters in phase a to compete you for air superiority there, so watch out for them.

Phase B:

You get the Stuh 42 there to support your infantry as well as marder II and more deadly at recon infantry (fusiliers). Thats not great, but at least its something to work with to hold the line. Pushing is still difficult since the marders and stuh are quite fragile and you only get one stuh 42 per card, but you can harass the enemy further with fusiliers.

Air superiority is now central. Again, try not to loose even a single plane. You can stock up on HS 129 as well and help out allies, those things can be quite helpfull if you attack with them on a section that has not seen much air combat so far. I have another card of howitzers for phase b in my deck with the single purpose of counter battering enemy aa

Phase C:

More or less a repetition of phase B.

If you have managed to sneak a sufficient enough amount of recons behind enemy lines, you can see pretty well, what they are fielding and react to it. Also air superiority is more important than ever.

That would be one way to play the Luftlande in 10vs10, I'm not saying its the best or ideal and that approach is certainly not suited well for 1vs1 or smaller games, since air units are expensive and do not cover any ground, but you can make a lot of points by killing enemy tanks with the hs 129 and by downing enemy aircraft.
