Irritation per holding, barony claims, pope event
When the High Taxes event triggers in a county wherein the Steward is performing the Collect Taxes job and a Mayor controls two (or more) cities therein, said Mayor will recieve the irritated malus once per holding. Since it is generally useful to let each Mayor hold two or three cities if possible, this can lead to some significant opinion modifiers. I have not tested this on any other, similar, event, but it would not surprise me if the effect is prevalent. This seems to not be WAD.
When you control a Duchy, wherein there is one Prince-Bishop or Lord-Mayor controlling a county in which there is a castle holding controlled by an external entity and you revoke the county title from the Prince-Bishop or Lord-Mayor, you will NOT have the possibility of launching a claim war against the external entity for control of the castle. Easiest location to test; the castle of Stade in Bremen is controlled by the Duke of Brandenburg, while the county of Bremen is controlled by a Prince-Bishop under the Duke of Saxony.
Should your demesne contain one or more heretical counties, while you are Catholic, an event (ID 39404) will trigger where the Pope expresses concern about heresy. You have the option of "acting against the heretics" or not. Should you do so, the event will keep triggering intermittently giving 10 Piety each time, without having an impact on the counties in question.
