PS, loading it back up, there's even more weirdness:
- My fleet was moved over to the New World. I know that I didn't order to do that, so thats proof I didn't just let it run and didn't realize it.
- My army invade a province that I wasn't concerned with (again, more proof).
- One of my colonies in progress is totally occupied by the enemy (whereas I've always seen the AI destroy your colonies).
I swear, its similar to how the AI plays when you let it take over your country for a bit. But worse. I know I've seen some weirdness when the game crashes if there's a battle going on in an ironman game, but this is a whole 'nother level.

Note my army in Virginia. I didn't move those down there, only that large army up in Massachusetts.
Note my various fleets. The only ships I had in the New World were 20 cogs for transport. Its not obvious in the picture, but one of those fleets is set to patrol. I don't use my carracks for patrols (and note that there managed to be a pirate fleet despite these supposed patrols).
Note my colony in New Jersey. Its occupied by the enemy, but they haven't razed it.
This is all just weird.
