Ironman question

I'm playing as Wallachia and had conquered Constantinople by 1448. The year is 1467 and Ottomans threatened war. I am allied to Poland/Lithuania and am confident in taking them on.
I moved my light ships to constantinople, and was waiting on 2 more light ships to finish before declining.

I thought if I didn't answer, it would decline by default.

BUT IT DIDN'T !!

backup and main are both the same date in 1467 ... Is there ANYTHING i can do to go back 4 days?

WHY did it accept by default? This is fucked up.

There would have been, if you had killed the game from task manager straight away. Now there is no way to go back.

Pop up event things alway auto-take the first option if you don't answer them in time.

After 1.23 the game saves twice when using the game interface to exit. First when clikcing the "Exit to Menu"/"Exit Game", then again when clicking quit in the statistics screen. It also appears that alt+f4 no longer saves the game.
