Ironman not working, help please!

I am able to start the ironman game and it aoutosaves the first decision I take which I the mission but then after that it is no longer ironman. I have no idea why it does this, I have no mods installed and I have reinstalled twice now. I have the right checksum. Does anyone know how to solve this?

How do you know it isn't ironman?

I've noticed that ironman games I've started recently don't have the ironman icon on them in the load screen, and when I mouse over the save game they say "Ironman: NO", but they're still ironman. (I got an achievement from it, so it has to be.)

It's just that I'm use to ironman saving all the time after most decisions, I guess I'll just give it a shot then if it works! Thank you by the way.

If you're having the same thing as me, it should still be saving after everything.

Oh well mine isn't working then, I really am not sure why.
