On Steam, I have all expansion packs for Crusader Kings II except for Sons of Abraham and Sunset Invasion. I also own several content packs, such as the Norse Units Pack and the African Units Pack. I am unable to start a new game in Ironman mode. I am given the message "The game files have been altered in some way, disabling Ironman mode. Check you don't have a mod loaded or verify your game files." Verifying my Steam cache confirms that my files are as they should be, and choosing the "content" tab from the main menu shows that I have no mods loaded.
I suspect that my abstinence from Sunset Invasion might be responsible for this, and while I plan to purchase the pack now to test this theory, I would like to see this false reporting of "modified games" rectified so that others might not have to.
My steam ID is STEAM_0:0:16498082 and my current version of Crusader Kings II is 2.0.1. My checksum is given as UHNI, unless I'm reading it wrong. My listed DLCs are African Portraits, African Unit Pack, Byzantine Unit Pack, Dynasty Coat of Arms Pack 1, Dynasty Coat of Arms Pack 2, Hymns to the Old Gods, Legacy of Rome, Mediterranean Portraits, Mongol Face Pack, Norse Portraits, Ruler Designer, Russian Portraits, Songs of Albion, Songs of Byzantium, Songs of Faith, Songs of Prosperity, Songs of the Caliph, Songs of the Holy Land, Songs of the Rus, The Old Gods, The Republic, and The Sword of Islam. I have not downloaded or enabled any mods.
Disabling The Old Gods and The Republic does not fix this.
A complete reinstall after purchasing Sunset Invasion still resulted in the UHNI checksum.
