But the DH team hasn't released all of the information about all of the features in the Dev Diaries, which is what KaiserMuffin was trying to say, I believe.
As a troll of intermediate skill, I do believe I can see a slight flame war and/or pointless argument developing when I see it.
Let's get back to the original topic shall we?
The OT's last question was answered by a team member. They're working closely with the IC team to make the games compatible (though I'm wondering what the DH installation option on IC would do if I used it). As for how useful it is to get it. That's something you'd partly have to figure out for yourself.
Take a look at the features in both games and decide if it's worth the cash to you.
It might also be prudent to wait a bit and see what other Paradoxians think of the IC game installed over DH and then decide. Though any Paradoxian worth his salt will buy it ASAP! ^^
I've played Paradox for quite a long time.
I would guess either Gavin or cesog fillireb, could not be Aeroner.![]()
We are from all over. I, as you can see from my sig, am from the USA, but am currently in school and can't keep up with my duties as "English Grammar Nazi". I should be able to finish up with the relevant files before my deadline, but it will be close.Called it. The flag icon is not very good when you think about it, but that's V2.
I am playing it again but forgot to install the 1.01 patch. .__________. I hate to hurt anyones' feelings, but the English needs some work. I don't remember where the DH team is from, but maybe they could help out with that too?
You dont know what is in the game obviously.I'm not sure if you read the quoted post so I put it again:I know what is in the Dev Diaries obviously.
I know what is in the Dev Diaries obviously. And I think not being in the team allows me to have a much more objective opinion.
Amun Nefer, the DH team is not responsible for IC. It's well known that the English in IC is atrocious, but this isn't the fault of the DH team.
Agreed.
Also, I've noticed that quite a few on the DH team/beta testing group haven't played AoD a lot. Some of them haven't even touched it! This may lead to false opinions on AoD and underestimation of the new mechanics that game already introduced.
You dont know what is in the game obviously.
I played it, a demo, but I played it and they havent shown half of the awesomeness yet.
I really think that is a mistake for them not to look at AoD, it's great from what I have seen, then again I always play it with the IC modification. I particularly like the three idea which are taken from earlier games, those I know are in AoD vanilla.
Edit and off-topic: Oh I love Finland, my dog from BC, Canada is actually a Finnish Spitz, lol, and ofc you guys have awesome archaeology.![]()
You know - no offense meant - but every time there is a new game that is being developped here, the forums are full of hype about how that game will be "awesome". There are so much posts about "awesomeness" that you almost want to throw up. And then the game comes out, people rush to buy it and then...magically the whole thing goes down and there's barely anything on the forums beside rants. So you can do what you want, but as far as I am concerned I will restrain myself from speaking of "awesomeness" before the game comes out, and rather focus on the obvious flaws that can already be spotted with regard to the dev diaries, NO need to play the game to see them.
