Although my loyalties are somewhat divided, as I can claim Sullivan lineage through my father's side and Connolly lineage on my mother's side. A social conservative, perhaps.

It's been a while since I visited your AAR, but I've taken some time to catch up. Well done, this makes me want to try vicky once more, although I'm sh*t at it
i love the whole ireland story, but one thing confuses me-shouldnt Belfast be owned by the UK-unless of course you bought it off the UK and i didnt notice.
I ask because whenever i look at setting up an independent Ireland, Belfast isnt included-and understandably so because in real life, the majority of people in that part of Ulster wish to remain British-much to the chagrin of the IRA)

Thanks! Alright, when ireland became independant in this storyline, ALL of Ireland was included in the deal. I know it's not exactly plausible in RL, but it served great purpose in this AAR. I wanted to stay a dominion, and the ownership of Belfast would make that very hard for me not to attack the Brits. So, now you see my reasoning.
I finally found the time to read this AAR through and I just wanted to say that I loved it. Now to head over to it's successor on the HOI2 forum.

Yep, Victioria: An empire under the sun, though most places shortened to Victoria or even Vicky. And I must agree, it's a great AAR. Welcome to the most horrifically, cruelly addictive game there is
