I almost wrote "vote" after those three possibilites- then I remembered this isn't my AAR

alright, not to freak anyone out
oh my god!
oh my god!
Exactly! The kid's planning to mesmerise us with another AAR until we've forgotten all about the sequel to this one.
You fiend, you...

Wohoo! This calls for a Guineken Porter Kriek. Just so you know, I'm going to call you the kid from now, and pretend to spit tobacco each time that I write it. Nonsuch, sir!Congrats on 900 posts, btw...

That's fine, but I'm not coming to Sweden to clean your carpet of tobacco juice...![]()
You finished without telling me? Bah!
You can count another reader in HoI2, then. But you know, my dear demokrat, I really do believe this is quite an achievement in itself. You have woven the history of Ireland both believably and entertainingly, which, put in the position you started yourself with, was no easy feat. You have kept us intrigued with home politics, dazzeled the world with your massive colonial feats, and had well timed and executed military success on the continent, and all whilst remaining friends with the British, a most amazing achievement indeed. With such a careful diplomat at the helm storming towards the 1930's and 40's, I think Ireland has a good chance of a fare few things! Bravo, sir! Bravo!
I'll mail it to you(And I wonder how Homeland Security would react to that)
Speaking of an unrelated matter, do you plan to modify either Ireland's tech teams, or its ministers. Ireland is, IIRC, one of those silly countries where the "Left" side of all elections are market liberals, and the Right social conservatives.
And you haven't really played HoI2 until you've nuked Crete.
Apparently there are a lot of Irish Social Democrats, you just can't elect them in Vanilla (but they might be on my computer thanks to Kaiserreich)Lord, where to begin with that. The Irish tech teams are so pathetic I might end upusing some UK and Canadian ones. Hey, we're still in the BCEU, right? With the ministers, I haven't decided what to do yet, and am open to suggestion.

As for Tech teams, Harland & Wolff were/are based in Belfast, and Ireland is technologically advanced enough in this timeline to warrant high competence across the board. Put your military doctrines should still be crap.
Otherwise, models and photos of models (the ones in the game, not female models) does make the game a little bit more appealing, so you might want to fix that as well, do avoid that "Wait, my Gloster Gladiators look exactly like Messerschmitt 109:s" -moment.
You should rename Ireland "Guineken Co".I see. I might add a few of the Britsh tech teams like Harland & Wolf, but change several of thier names to Guinness, Heiniken, and Guniken and make them UBER AWESOME companies...
No, divisions (land, air and sea alike). Rename to give them a non-generic name (Spitfire Mk. III instead of Improved Fighter) with a picture of a Spitfire in the interface. Well, two pictures actually, one a real photograph and one a replace the image in the battle screen. And, I'm more noobish at HoI, so when you say models do you mean the images of the tech teams?![]()

Then there's things like modified sprites and so on (so you can have a real Hurricane buzzing around over the map!), but that's getting a bit too geeky![]()
Hey, it is not yet 1936!
Where is your revolutions?
Proper bodily hygiene, for instance. Or soberness.![]()
You clearly don't know much about Ireland.
Congratz on finishing this superb AAR, though I still protest the picking apart of Austria, even though they still did well in the end. You've certainly accomplished a feat that few players could probably have the patience or the skill to go through.
what really set this aar apart was the internal politics. It should all get better in HoI2.
