See? I told you a successful ottoman counteroffensive to push Austria out of their lands was unlikely.
Of course my prophecy wont come true until the Austrians sue for a peace on their terms. Looks like their empire is suffering a total defeat from the Russians and Prussians though, I guess its actually pretty unlikely.
Will the Russian/Prussian alliance take land? Or will this ancient once-mighty imperial state be relegated to satellite status?
If the latter possibility becomes a reality, the Prussians are certainly the strongest candidate to be the masters of a subservient Austrian state, given they're currently occupying the capital even though their allies to the East seem to have taken more territory.
Such an action would seal off any Russian ambition for expansion into central Europe and establish Prussia in a strong, dominant position on the continent!

The British have made a terrible mistake in their restriction of themselves and their allies from this conflict! The fate of central Europe could now be decided without their input!

The Austrians are on the fritz and it doesn't look good, but you might be right in that a sudden Ottoman peace might preserve the Empire. Will they, though?
