Chapter Twenty Seven
The World at Large, 1900
Here is the state of the world, 1900! Included will be enormous, continent sized overviews, and smaller looks at interesting spots...
This is Europe. The enormous Russian Empire is on the back-bounce after a 4th Crimean war, in which they won bacak part of Persia and Siberia. (In game terms, they were at war and I didn't even notice, that is why I didn't include anything about it in the last update...) We can also see that Germany, mainly due to the French-Irish alliance, failed to form, and the France now dominates Italy in the Medditeranian. Switzerland has been beligerant too, making them ranked the 7th greatist world power with their miniature Empire. Greece has gotten quite a licking from the Ottomans too...
This is Asia. China has essentially been dismembered by Britain and China, while France has remained weak with lots of in-fighting in Indochina and the newly acquired Irish Guinea.
This is Africa. Where, we can see, the Americans in the East, the Irish in the West, the Spanish in the North, and the Anglo-Portugeese in the South continue their expansion into the dark continent.
This is South America. Nothing much to report, just that Chile and Peru have gotten into a few spats, with Peru winning most...
This is North America. As we can see, a resurgent Mexico has, ith French help, taken back part of North America from the US, and Texas lies independent in the middle. The Great White North remains unchanged, as does Irish Newfoundland, since 1873. American interventionism under President Roosevelt, first elected in 1889, can be seen in Cuba, south Mexico, and Central America.
This is a close-up of Italy, which is a pure mess. If any major European war erupts, this is sure to be the powderkeg that does it... (hint hint)
Germany is disunited under squabbling dutchies under Prussian or Austrian domination. Sometimes, the domination is shared and tensions rise. Equally as dangerous as Italy...
The lowlands. Irish owned Goningen and French owned Middleburg comprise of the last vestiges of the great war in the lowlands...
This is an image of the Irish Empire, stretching from a small, under-populated island in North
North North North North America, to the tropics of the Cameroon...
The results of a fifteen year survey. It appears that the Irish are, as a whole, mostly concerned about Jingoism abroad, and Laissez Faire at home...
