Invited character keeps leaving

So, I seduced the wife of a character from a nearby vassal of my liege. Her husband just died, and she's not a fan of her liege, so I invited her to my court. She joins my court, but then goes back to his court right afterwards for no reason I can see. Does anyone know why this is happening? I can still reinvite her back, but she just gets pulled back to her original court.
