But what I wanted to know is how I get my troops onboard a transport... I have loads of men in Andalucia, as well as transports, but how do I get them to America?

put the transports in an adjacent sea province (NOT in port) and tell the infantry to move onto the transports as though you were telling them to move to a neighboring provinces (ie. left click on the infantry division then right click on the transports)

You can't move more infantry onto the ships than the transports will hold, so check how much weight the transports can carry, and the weight of your infantry unit, and reduce your infantry division or add transports until the weight of the infantry division is less than the capacity of the transports.

Huhu, didnt get that when i played eu1 first either . Took me like two months to realize how it was done. Before, i had only relied on building armies in the isolated provinces...

Seriously this could be fun, but I would have to find a way to work around my router (yes I know I'm lazy, and don't know anything about routers), and it may happen that I suddenly have to move a place far away from my PC (some people doesn't tell me when they plan to go on vacation unless I probe them which I don't because I expect them to tell me).

I also currently play on sundays and fridays, and sometimes work on saturdays (but I can be flexible about that)

Nice to hear from you Bödvar. Are you not using Hamachi? That, besides the router, is another problem as it makes it impossble for you to communicate properly with the rest of the players.

Would be interesting to take part for at least a while, but if Hamachi is involved, then this is a definitive no-no. I'll be following this though

There will be no Hamachi Jarkko. Of that you can be entirely sure. All players must be able to communicate with all other.

It would be very nice to have you in the game. An occasional mad wardog is always wellcome

It appears some wants to play but cannot commit for the whole time span. But then you can still announce your interest and specify at what dates and time you can play. Perhaps someone else than can complement you and the two of you can become a team.

I really think this should be done before the eu3 release. Perhaps later, when the holidays are over and people are more available?
