Hello! When playing Vip, inventions, are not firing after i research the required techs. as Oranje, i finished all techs around 1910, but no inventions fired, could this be due to an error in the installation? i am playing the latest version of vip before revolutions. any help would be appreciated, thanks

Are you sure that you didn't cheat because you could not of finished them by 1910!

I too once used that event to fire all the techs, I soon noticed that it clogs up the system and nothing fires.

If inventions exceed their deathdate then this just increases the chance of them firing. Seems a bit odd that they haven't fired; they always work fine for me. Also, I don't think in any Revolutions mods that the final tier of techs can be researched until later on, when they become available for research.

I think I have a similar problem but it might be my lack of pateience with the slower VIP game speeds. But I research 4 culture techs in 7 years and I only get Neo-Kantism, and I started a new game and researched 4 techs and only got Neo-Kantism... it makes me suspicious but do not worry about it I will jut try again, becuase I think I got a militry invention once too so it is probably jut my inpateince here.

Must be some kind of bug...

I am getting this problem again after I reinstalled my Victoria and Rev..

Maybe I patched the game in the wrong order?
