If it's going to be centered around Europe and Christianity again, I'm actually a bit puzzled as to why, and a little disappointed. CK2 is still going strong, so I was sure the new title wouldn't be CK3, but then again I suppose it makes sense to make a sequel to a game with a large following, and maybe they couldn't pile too many more DLCs onto the game anyhow.
However... I'm left with the feeling that Europe and Christendom has been done, if you know what I mean, so I had a hope that the next game with the CK system would be set in China, or perhaps the near East. Changing settings, but keeping and improving upon the CK formula would make the experience feel far more "fresh" and exciting.
I'm sure CK3 will be great and all, I was just hoping for a new setting.
