Having offered my services to the mod team and it being my personal area of expertise (read, I am going to university to study contemporary military and international history next september (my 2nd go at the bloody system )) as well as having worked on the 1964 AoD Mod (Shameless plug) and the Kaiserreich Modding Crew (More Shameless Plugs) I would personally refuse to write off the 1949 scenario just yet

That was a poll on which one of those two we should prioritize. The main focus is still in 1914 and 1936.

Should we expect any interwar events I'm sure a lot of people would like to see the German November Revolution of 1919, the Polish- Ukrainian/Soviet War, Finnish Civil War of 1918 mabye as small scenarios?

We are working on Russian civil war and other 1918-1922 events might be simulated as well as a basis for a future interbellum scenario but I can't promise anything.
For now the official line is that DH will provide WW1 and WW2 scenarios!

Road to Doom's Day 1936-1999 for Darkest Hour

Finally I am quite excited about the early work on RDD for Darkest Hour. I am planning on a Light version, a Full Version 1936-1999, Full Version 1913-1999 and if possible a Full Version 1900-1999. The Light followed by the Full 1936-1999 will be the first launched to match the release of Darkest Hour as close as we can.

IF my calculations are correct RDD is now well over 10 000 events and growing.

Seeing as most of the features seem to dynamic, the game mechanics should be fun enough well into the '60s, I believe.

We really want to avoid the mistake which consists in releasing unfinished scenarios. Every development team has to make hard choices. We try we make ours out of respect for this great community.

One of the issues, quite frankly, is how much can be done in the time available until the product is released. Certainly the framework is there for interwar scenarios. So if you don't see a scenario with the product release, you'll at least have the tools to create one.
