What? You doubted me? I told you not to panic a few months ago. Some things just take a bit more time than others to make their first appearance.mandead said:Nope, Great Britain. Been campaigning for it for agggeeesss, especially since seeing screenshots of England during the American Revolutionary War.
Still, now I've seen proof that GBR is in the game, I iz a happy bunny, innit![]()
About the port-icons...really, can we have them made a little better? Round quays? I must say I never fancied docking at such ports...not that there are many of them...crustav said:Port-icons in Lake Huron?! If so, YAAY!

Verenti said:Okay, I love the new Screen Shot of Nova Scotia, THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD OUTSIDE OF GREAT BRITAIN. But I have a few Gripes.
Firstly, the name is Acadia. I KNOW that's what the Frenchies called it before we took it from them, BUT... Okay, I'd rather it called by it's proper Name, but I can live with it, even though it's only half of Acadia, the rest of it is called Mic Mac (which is politically incorrect... sorta. They're Mi'Kmaq now) But The city in Nova Scotia is... very weirdly placed. The province has a French name but the settlement is like diametrically opposed to the French Shore. The French settled the south end of Nova Scotia if I'm correct. It should probablly be placed in Port Royal or Halifax. Like wise I'd perfer if the province was.
But otherwise it's beautiful.

What is Cosmopolitan culture? Does it mean no one has penalties for holding it?
Johan stated a few weeks ago that he turns off the shadowing for his screenies here. They've existed all along, we just haven't seen them.Sir Humphrey said:Will there be shadows under the giant 'wicker men' (even greyish blobs would do the job)?
Alerias said:Acadia IS the proper name for the time period.
I beg to differ. At the time that Nova Scotia was Acadia, modern day New-Brunswick (the Mic Mac province) was not populated. It's the reason why when Acadia was ceded to the british, Mic Mac stayed under french control.
Now french colonization of Mic Mac only started well after the british takeover of Acadia ; most of it happened after the deportation of 1755. Those who weren't deported fled to Mic Mac and île St-Jean (modern day Prince Edward's Island).
So it is perfectly understandable that only modern day Nova Scotia (without Île Royale, modern day Cape Briton, because that stayed in french hands too) would be called Acadia and not modern day New Brunswick.
