I have another few Qs: There are a number of options to be ticked on or off when first starting the campaign. Those include Random Events, Colonial Events, Alternative Reformation, Core Events, Chimu Events. Which ones will be used?

My suggestion is ON for all but Chimu. I don't know what they are about except their title though. Matty?

I would be highly interested in joining as Abbasid Caliphate, or less so as Teutonic Order. I have experience playing a full campaign as both, and have played in EU2 MP before, be it more than a year ago since I last participated in one.

I also wonder if you could, change that no edits rule, to allow some edits for example in order to allow sales of provinces and such.

I can play any day of the week apart from Mondays, as then I will be tired and moody. On Fridays and Saturdays I will not be available once a month.

Tuesdays to Thursdays I will not be avalable at all until approximately 17:30 CEST.

Time should be good for me, i don't terribly mind which nation i get, the Hansa and Brittany look fun, but whatever is left is fine for me.

Yes, the Cossacks can form Ruthenia and now get Ruthenian culture (bug corrected).

And, as beregic says, I have events now so that whomever controls Astrakhan gets the uber-conquistadors (the game's built-in versions that last 10 years!) to explore Siberia. Of course, they don't have to be used for that.

But it does give the Cossacks a lot more options. Being the first to trade with China and all those Gold provinces might be worth it. Plus the manpower.

Are there any events concerning all the Settled/Nomadic Turcomen cultured provinces? Or will the Cossacks only have 4 right-cultured provinces until they can form Ruthenia? And when that is done, only 10?

And I could not find any trigger anywhere that would require ownership of 457 (Astrakhan). Is there a newer version than 1.07?

It seems there are 12 interested players who can play on Sunday as opposed to 10 countries which are required. Ergo we'll probably have to include more countries.

Cossacks has too little of an economy for my tastes. Although I was gonna enjoy the land-based warfare.

it seems that this could be ready to begin even the next upcoming sunday ( if the time and date have indeed been finalized). any objections? my understanding is that 1.08 is almost ready but still needs some final touches.anyone willing to help mattyg with finalizing this?

It contains a lot more than just the new Polish file. Lot's of lother little biuts and pieces, including Friesland, medi-eval Universities, and many bug fixes.

Here are the tasks remaining for me:

1. Events representing the conflict between Kowalski and Michal Tarlo.

2. Monarchs for 1675 onwards.

3. Events for Rome if it is not owned by the Papal States, with the push for autonomy.

4. Friesland events at Anne's decision to marry.

5. AI files for Poland (always the last thing I do.)

Not necessarily if I play them, which I hope I can in case there are enough players. I have only taken a real part in about 5 MP campaigns, and my often conservative way of playing (I don't normally take more than what feels or looks right for my country) may stop me from growing obscenely powerful as Abbasids, even if my neighbours are AI.

We will play the Sunday after the new version is finished and tested for bugs. No hurry. Next Sunday is Easter anyway and this will also give time for Uni II to terminate.
