 mats vassaled everyone in his path;) did you notice his bb levels at all times? i would start there...

i was about to do that, when that event popped up with rebellions all over anatolia, then 1 city falls and a month later puff nation taking it all, i belive matty should have given me a chance to atleast fight the rebels and not expect me to have 40k troops in anatolia at all times to fight some 60k in rebels that popped up.

that not only costed me the vassalization of hungary, croatia and ragusa, due to the collapse of my income and the incapability of fighting on in the balkans to conclude the sieges and get them vassalized, but also costed me the vassals of georgia, and later on armenia.

so ye that event pretty much ruined byz.

Euhmm, Georgia was never a vassal as far as I could see. Armenia definitely was but it's gone now.

A short session that still featured a lot of human wars. Byzantians and Cossacks are clearly a tight pair of allies, eventually erupting in full war over Asia minor against the Abbasids.
Then do not war so much?

Actually me and Byz never fought, it was nelson that decided to come down and try to kill my armies but he failed and was destroyed. However, the seperate peace treaties messed up asia minor a bit. Hedjaz is everywhere now.

False. The Cossacks and Byzantium never went to war with the Caliphate over Asia Minor. The Cossacks helped Byzantium on the basis of good will and long-term gameplay consideration and nothing else.

Cossacks alone later went to war with the Caliphate to prevent them from expanding into the Golden Horde. The war aims were completed when the Caliphate was forced to WP the Golden Horde. The mission, as opposed to being failure, was actually a complete success. What more did you expect? Demanding provinces from you or vassalisation?

This is interesting news. It also makes it clear that while the Sultan of Egypt may have Elite Slaves, he does not have Elite Spies. Gotta look into that. It's good to hear that other propaganda bureaucracies are in function.

Well I wouldn't be too worried about it realy, the Golde Horde is many miles away from Egypt and none of your concern.

I never had any intention of expanding into the Golden Horde. They attacked me and I kicked their sorry asses when they sent in a huge army to my cav army on the plains in Daghestan. They were routed, a siege was won and not soon after they payed me for a peace. I barely lost anything in that war and I got to feel Nelson a bit in war.

The caliph was and is not disappointed with those chain of events.
